Although God has been doing this for a while now, we're seeing Him (more and more) knitting together a number of Flushing leaders and we're sensing that this may be the beginning of a unique outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will encompass all of Flushing"

"We at the "Family" watch were not the only ones praying, but we rejoiced when the ban on partial-birth abortion was passed. We also joined with many who were praying that Abercrombie & Fitch would pull their catalog. It was directed at young people and promoted promiscuity, homesexuality, etc. The catalog was pulled from the stores, and I believe even those that were to be sent out to subscribers were pulled. A&F said that they were going to go in a different direction. We have had wonderful worship times, and have felt that God has been pleased with our prayers. Though we do pray for particular issues, we all realize that the answer to every issue we pray about is that everyone would come to know the Father, through Jesus Christ, His Son. So, we pray that the Body of Christ will come to a deeper relationship with God and more accurately reveal Him to the world. Those who regurlary attend the watch feel a bonding and unity among us."
